Director's Bio
Pernille Kjaer (1989) is a Danish independent animation filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist. Former student at the Academy of Fine Arts (Det Jyske Kunstakademi) in Århus, she completed her studies with a BA in character animation from The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark. Her proliferous production includes short animated films, art-related projects often combining animation, art and music, but also prints, painting and sculptures, where she explores various levels of abstraction through colorful and concrete shapes, strict black and white, and line work. She works closely with the composers and sound designers Sofie Birch and Astrid Fabrin, amongst other things on large-scale video and sound art installations.
Adrian Dexter is an American/Danish filmmaker and illustrator. He attended the European Film College and the Animation Workshop in Denmark. He directed the short film “Væsen” before spending two years working in VFX in Stockholm. He attended Animation sans Frontières where he developed and then produced the web series “In Ten Thousand years, Maybe”. He has been involved with several A.R installations including “Forecast” and “HC2” for Click Festival, and digital scenography for Teater Katapult, in tandem with various commercial illustration projects.
